Ice hockey is one of the most popular winter disciplines, and for many years ice hockey was the only game sport included in the Winter Olympics program (until curling was included in the program in 1998). The first references to the game with sticks on ice date back to the 18th century, but hockey began to acquire its modern form only in the late 19th century in Canada, where the first matches in this sport were held. I like it very much you can see here hockey arena photos especially I like the arenas they give me goosebumps.
I really like the Scotiabank Saddledome, an indoor sports arena with a capacity of over 19,000 people. The stadium is the home arena for the Calgary Flames (NHL), Calgary Hitmen (WHL) and Calgary Roughnecks (NLL). The arena also hosts a large number of concerts, conferences and sporting events. The stadium was built in 1983.
