Elementor vs WP Bakery Page Builder

I really don't get the benefits from the Elementor.
Why is it so popular at the moment und where is the main advantage compared to for instance wp bakery page builder (visual composer)?

A few arguments would be fine

Elementor is better, more modern, faster, easier to use. You can create pages directly from the frontend in Elementor. Wpbakery claims to have such feature but it is unusable.

You can get similar results with bothbbut if you want to learn one of them, try elementor. However the best one is Oxygen builder, steeper learning curve, requires some basic html/css/js skills for optimal results but at least you gain more universal skills than wordpress page builder. You can have decent career making wordpress sites using elementor though
