FJDS is software for reprogramming modules spanning 1996 as well as reprogramming 2018 Ford, Lincoln and Mercury modules, plus complete dealership level diagnostic software for all 2018 Ford and Lincoln models.FJDS is designed for use with J2534-compliant vehicle communication interfaces (VCI), including Ford diagnostic equipment (VCM II or VCMM). The FJDS software license includes temporary access to the FJDS software, software updates, and calibration files.
FDRS is a new generation Ford Motor Company factory diagnostic software designed for use with VCI compatible with VCM II, VCMM and J2534. FDRS provides complete dealer level vehicle diagnostics for select vehicles from 2018 and beyond. FDRS provides superior capabilities, is more user-friendly, and provides more diagnostic tools than IDS. The cloud-based system ensures that the technician gets the latest software every time the FDRS logs on to the Ford network.
