V1.7 How to merge several shops into one?

Do you have any experience in doing so? How to merge several shops into a multishop?
I am trying to do so on the latest PS 1.7.6.7
Seems easy on paper.... but in reality, this is kind of messy.
How do you manage categories, root categories, and so on..
I have trying and it's quite long and painful.
Tried the migration pro module.... not working perfectly, the prestashop migrator is better.

To integrate two or more store to one shop the best way is to use STORE MANAGER with this tool you can easy export (Category, products, images, all attributes..) from one store and import to other store.

For merge two or more you need to activate MULTISTORE

it is quite easy if you split existing store under same domain
