I'm in the process of setting up a forum on my WordPress site and I'm torn between a few options. I've narrowed it down to BuddyBoss and WpForo, but I'm open to other suggestions as well. Here's what I'm looking for:
- **Ease of Use:** I need something that's easy to set up and manage. I'm fairly tech-savvy but I don't want to spend hours configuring everything.
- **Customization:** The ability to customize the look and feel of the forum to match my site's design.
- **Features:** I'm looking for robust features like user profiles, private messaging, and social integrations.
- **Performance:** I don't want the plugin to slow down my site. It needs to be lightweight and efficient.
- **Support:** Good support and a helpful community would be a huge plus.

From what I've read, BuddyBoss seems like a solid option. It offers a lot of social features and integrates well with BuddyPress. The customization options look extensive, and the user interface appears clean and modern. However, it does seem a bit pricey. Has anyone used BuddyBoss? How's the performance and support?
