Media Cleaner Pro is a tool that detects unused and useless WordPress files.
It cleans your media library and downloads directory.
What exactly does the plugin do?
The plugin checks that:
the physical file is attached to the media library,
the media file is used in the post,
the media file is used in the custom post field,
the media file is used in the WordPress post gallery,
the retina media file (under the retina screen) has a normal file (the file without @2x).
In case of incompatibility with the specified checks, the plugin will mark the found files, which can be deleted in the future.
