What's new in OpenPaths 2024 (24.00.00.9)
This release introduces major new features and functionality across all OpenPaths applications, including EMME, CUBE, AGENT, DYNAMEQ and CItyPhi.
Release Highlights
OpenPaths CUBE 2024offers a more productive, usable and efficient model management experience with a completely new GIS window for mapping and network editing, a new CubePy Python library for working with networks and matrices, an upgraded scenario manager and application editor, a new Cluster manager to improve the stability of distributed processing and much more. CUBE is now natively integrated with AGENT travel demand modeling software, permitting assembly of virtually any travel demand model including activity-based (ABM), tour-based and classic trip-based models, and enabling time-saving automated model calibration procedures to leverage new mobility data sources for better model validation.
OpenPaths EMME 2024introduces network acceleration for improved SOLA traffic assignment performance (2-7x faster single thread, up to 2x faster with 40 threads on very large applications), new transit analysis capabilities, easier specification of auxiliary transit modes in mixed-mode assignments, new Flow features for folder-based organization and new parameters for file and directory selection. EMME also includes major new AGENT enhancements including support for agent-based freight modeling with a new Firm Synthesizer and new agent types for Firms, Trucks, Truck tours and Truck trips, as well as improvements to automated calibration, performance optimizations, and ability re-start a demand model from a previous step.
OpenPaths DYNAMEQ 2024introduces new editing capability for O-D paths and path usage and brings accumulated maintenance for desktop application features and APIs.
OpenPaths CityPhi 2024introduces an updated CityPhi Studio time slider to work more productively with keyframes, new 3D label layers for point, polyline and polygon features, a new offset layer parameter to improve rendering of directional polylines, API access to the CityPhi expression language and more.

OpenPathsdelivers the most comprehensive transport modeling platform for strategic and operational transport planning. With OpenPaths you can capture a complete representation of mobility, incorporating travel demand at any level of detail from zones to individual persons, tours, and trips, and multimodal traffic on any mode from cars to public transit and beyond to answer questions about the future of mobility. OpenPaths is available in two editions,OpenPaths AdvancedandOpenPaths Ultimate. Each edition offers access to applications and features tailored to your needs. During installation, you will need to configure the edition based on the specific application you intend to use.
