This is not a planned fork of the buddypress project, but to build a similar plugin for osclass, that allows us turn osclass sites into a social network where users can interact and do other meaningful things other than just posting ads

Doesn't there exist some plugins that offers something similar to buddypress' features?

I think it would be nice to instead build an escrow and dispute management system for osclass, and more sweeter would be a gamified system like mycred point system.

I don't think there is. Mycred is also a fantastic system to include
