With wordpress, to have the site in several languages, you need a module, which costs a lot. After you install that module, the website will run very hard on a shared hosting. At opencart this problem does not exist. Even if you have many languages, the site will run quickly.

I love opencart. Use it for all my standard ecommerce sites.
Recently I've set up a couple of woocommerce sites specifically to use their multi-vendor marketplace add-ons (opencart's multi vendor extensions suck). I've found woocommerce really frustrating with how it's constantly trying to update all it's many different parts, causing some to stop functioning correctly as the others update.
