I use Yootheme. You have many options (without 3rd party) to create a very good website. But, it's a bit difficult to find your way around at first.

Can I ask why? Did you also make the necessary settings in Virtuemart? I installed Joomla 4 and VMuikit X version 10.15 for testing purposes. Maybe I can help.

I've only had good experiences with Joomla 4+ so far. However, you should be careful with some extensions. At least as far as version 4.2.2 (latest) is concerned.
