Like Root's say above: most powerful themes like Panda or Transformer (the one I use), have the Related Products module built-in, and the related products appears in the product page, the pop-up cart & the shopping cart page. For this reason, I have no knowlegde about what do or don't do...

Ah! ... but usually Abandonned Cart Reminder modules work by email (which can be nice because you can give a discount or free shipping), or eventually with a pop-up windows (which seems brutal to me... like shouting: "Hey! You forget to pay your caddy!")... but I never see a module Abandonned...
