Does anyone using this ? What is the difference between the shipping calculator.

It's quite simple. Magento Core is quite powerful but few things are missing. This extension is really great for many stores.
Let's suppose you have a store that sells cheap toys and expensive watches. You want your customers to use only UPS or DHL but NOT Airmail or any untraceable shipping method when they are buying expensive items because there is a tracking number and it helps avoid fraud from customers who claim they did not get the 2000 dollar watch.

Thanks to extension like this you can decide that items that have a certain value or certain SKU for example can't be shipped by Airmail or any other untraceable shipping method. Without this extension all shipping methods are displayed at checkout. With this extension certain shipping methods are hidden based on you choice.
