In prestashop, the most important thing is that its flexable and free. Using addons and templates from this forum you can do nice looking and working shop with little or no cost.

I think they are different worlds, shopify is a paid service that makes the shop for you, prestashop is a tool that you have to work with yourself to craft the shop

Always shopify for me! It's faster and also in a long term cheapier than prestashop.

Shopify allows you to focus more on marketing and sales. With PrestaShop you have to spend more time on technical and design processes.

in my personal experience Prestashop is better if you know your way around coding or finding this forum, but if you want less click and less thinking and you have money u go to shopify and say I want this.
