For stores where the margins are thin, such fees can make the orders expensive for merchants by taking away the profit.
Adding that fee to the product price or order total makes it less practical as it will make the product look overpriced compared to competitors. This is where our module can help. You can add a fee to any payment method and trigger it based on various conditions like order amount, customer group, product in cart, etc. Admin can also show a customized message on the checkout page with the payment method allowing users to know why they are getting a discount or paying some extra fee.
