Foo events looks really interesting, especially with the various extensions that cover just about every scenario in ticket sales.
I'd love to test this solution for hot-air balloon ticket sales, which are quite special.

Too sad, I just downloaded it and it has all the addons except Custom Attendee Fields, which was the most important addon to get the weight info from each passenger.
