While this is true that it says this on google documentation, still all the pages that were submitted by this module got updated within few hours with the crawl timestamp being the same as on the module. (I modified the module to not only show errors but all submissions).You waste your time with this module.
Here is what google say :
Currently, the Indexing API can only be used to crawl pages with either JobPosting or BroadcastEvent embedded in a VideoObject.
This method does not work for products.
