The same thing happened to me a few months ago.

They broke through a wordpress installation (I hate it).

The steps I took were the following:

1º Contact the company to inform it.
2º Report it to the police for computer crimes.
3º Check that you can recover a backup copy of the server from a few days before.
4º Check that I have a clean backup made by me.
5º Make a copy of the current state of the server as proof.
6º Change all the passwords of everything and put them with strange signs.
7º Set up a new structure of the web with a new database and begin the restoration of the most reliable backup copy.

NOT TO PAY !!!

If wordpress can be avoided, all the better...

Good luck and have a good recovery.

You all know, that was recent with PS 1.7.8. Prestashop has not even realized the patch. Why? Because that vulnerability is a marketing trick by Prestashop developers. They know about that for many years!
