How to remove totally the footer in prestashop 1.7

Hello guys,

I am a newbie in prestashop, I was trying to remove totally the footer in prestashop. But to no avail, i tried to unhook all but still the footer is there with the prestashop link.

any of your thoughts is highly appreciated

for an update, i also tried to edit the footer.tpl from the templates. and remove all codes in there but still the footer is in my home page

hello guys. i was able to delete totally the footer by deleting all codes in the footer. tpl manually. only the remarks was left. and when i login and logout again. suddenly the footer is gone.

you should clear cache in your shop and delete browser history

Hey, man!!

Just add a little css code.
Example:
#div.footer {display:none !important;}

Send me your website url and I'll tell you exactly how the css code would be to remove (hide) the div you want.
