V8x How to update free addons from ets/prestahero

Hi, the direct installation of a pro module doesnt work if the old module is already installed. but when deleting all data is also gone.. so what to do to perfom an update? f.ex. ets_megamenu, slider etc..?

you can export data from database and import after reinstal module also check export setting from module - maybe they do something like that

Thanks! Yes megamenu and multislider have this feature... and with the new versions it seems to work! In the multislider i could import the sample data file from the template... the megamenu was not working - maybe the versions to different. Unfortunatly i have also a problem with the template... in layout1 i have a big black header in the logo area, between top header and menu... no idea what this is.. will be a interesting weekend....

most of time,you can create new one than upgrading .it is cost time to do that .
