It depends what you are wanting to host on it?
If you are hosting static pages then it's sometimes possible to host in Google Drive and use Cloudflare for mapping a domain to the url
For something more complex you would need to have some proper hosting (unless you were going to use an old laptop etc)
This provider is reasonably cheap for what they offer and I have had a great experience with them before and they're around years later
