Joomla 4.0

As you might know that Joomla 4.0 has released but I'm very curious about its reliability. Anyone have ideas?

J4.2 works like a charm... I think you have tried it by now.
The backend is also now more intiutive ;-)

yes i agree, i prefer Joomla more than Wordpress at this point.

I've only had good experiences with Joomla 4+ so far. However, you should be careful with some extensions. At least as far as version 4.2.2 (latest) is concerned.

Well, I like R4 very much: I started in the last few weeks, and I used Joomla 4.2.2 only, but it’s stable and performantive with php 8.1.
The admin interface becomes familiar in a while, if you used older versions, like J3 or J2.5.
After many local tests, I upgraded my own website to Joomla 4 today, and I’m very happy.
By the way, thanks to this forum for it!

Yees, J4 is very good but not all good extensions is not fully working yet

I don't see a problem in terms of security. Definitely more reliable than the old version

I havent migrated to using J4 yet. Still sticking with 3 while the plugins I use are brought up to date.

You can run the pre check for joomla 4 and find out your components compatibility

Use Phoca Top Menu module: https://www.phoca.cz/download/category/123-phoca-top-menu-module
Install it then enable it
Set Preset to: Preset - Alternative Main Menu
Set module position to: customtop
All are better now
