Use 1-Click Direct Upgrade to 8.x - Better, faster & stable Module. Working perfect.
I upgrade presta from 1.6.24 to 1.7.9 and 8.0.5 and manual replace files to 8.2.
Working without errors perfect.

1-Click Update to presta 8.0.5 version works normally. But you need to look at the versions when there are errors and they do not allow you to upgrade. And since version 8.1 I can't run 503 error, 503 Service Unavailable Error. You need more resources in the hosting. 256 ram is not enough, you need at least 512. And twice as much ram. With php 7.4 version presta 8.2 slow work comparing to 1.6.24 presta. However, the administration was quite slow, the page itself with the cache works fast enough. It would work fine with php 8.1, but I use many modules that only work with php 7.4. So that php 8.1 will have to be activated only when version 9 is available, now it makes no sense. And 1-Click Upgrade is poorly updated and often falls into circles, which is very annoying and hinders the progress of the presta upgrade.
