What are you saying? If OC is not compatible with your php version, just change the php version, it's one click in Cpanel (or so).

this will not work if you just simply choose the version in cpanel.

I think you have a different problem. Post the actual error. I've installed OC hundreds of times for clients.

Hmmm. I haven't ran into that issue yet. Just installed OC today and running 3.0.3.8 with PHP 7.3 currently. What PHP version are you running?

OpenCart requires at least PHP 7.3

FYI: Opencart 3.0.3.9 and 3.0.4.0 support up to PHP 8.3
