1. Abandon Cart Improvement.
Research shows about 60% to 80% of the users who go to the checkout page, do not complete their purchase. By enabling Store Cart (Abandon Cart) feature in EShop, you can automatically recover your lost revenue very well.
From this new version of EShop, you can configure totally of 3 abandon cart reminder emails to send to customers automatically to remind them to go to Checkout. All of time schedule, the content of reminder emails are configurable.
2. Quote Form Improvement.
From this new version, Quote Form supports more many fields: Name, Email, Company, Telephone, Address, City, Postcode, Country, State and Message. All of fields can be configurable (published / unpublished, required / optional) from the Configuration.
3. Display Product Attributes on Products List.
This is a new feature. So you have a new configure option to display Product Attributes of each product on the product lists.
To display Product Attributes on Products List, please go to EShop > System > Configuration > Layout tab, at "Show Product Attributes", choose Yes.
4. Quote Cart / Shopping Cart Function Improvement.
On previous versions, if customers need to update quantity of products in the Quote Cart or Shopping Cart, they need to change the quantity first, then click on Update button to update. However, from this version, there is a new option to allow customer to use +/- quantity button to update quantity. So if this option is enabled, customer just need to click on +/- button to update quantity directly.
To enable it, please go to EShop > System > Configuration > Layout tab:
- At "Update Cart Function", choose Quantity Button
- At "Update Quote Function", choose Quantity Button
5. Address Manager Improvement.
On the edit customer form at the back-end side, we improved the Address Manager section to display existing addresses under tabs, allow admin to click on Add New Address button to add new address for customer easily. Also, full of address custom fields are also supported.
6. Some other bug fixes / improvements:
- Prepare content (product short desc and product desc) on the products list to support content plugin.
- Fix the router issue with cart, checkout, wishlist, compare and customer views.
- Fix the issue of page mode of EShop Search module.
- Fix small issue of Acymailing plugin.
