A whisper stirs in winter's breath,
Soft snowflakes dance, defying death.
Bare trees stand tall in frosted white,
As dawn ignites the longest night.
But soon the sun begins to rise,
A golden glow in sapphire skies.
Spring wakes the earth with buds so bright,
And melts away the cloak of night.
Green tendrils weave through forest deep,
Where once the world lay still in sleep.
A symphony of life is sung,
With petals kissed by rain and sun.
Then summer strides with burning fire,
Fields of gold in warm attire.
The rivers swell, the laughter flows,
As fragrant gardens blush and grow.
But autumn waits with painter’s hand,
To brush the trees in colors grand.
A crimson leaf, a golden hue,
A crisp farewell to skies so blue.
The wind returns with icy tune,
And frost will find the fading moon.
For seasons turn as time decrees,
A whispered song upon the breeze.
