PrestaShop favicon for all platforms - Apple Touch, Android and Windows​

PrestaShop favicon for all platforms, since mobile users are more and more, it's important to make your site show proper icons on different devices and platforms, so users can easily find the icon to back to your site. With so many devices and platforms, it's hard to know exactly what you should do. What are the dimensions of icons for them, how many icons do I need? This "PrestaShop favicon for all platforms" module can help you solve all those problems.
Compatible with PrestaShop 1.6 and PrestaShop 1.7

IOS Safari​

Add an Apple Touch icon. The apple touch icon will show out when save on the user's mobile device, it will be the same size as other app icons.
The apple touch icon can work on iPhone, iPad and other apple devices.

Android Chrome​

Add an icon for Android Chrome.
Add Web App Manifest to your site. The web app manifest is a simple JSON file that tells the browser about your web application and how it should behave when "installed" on the user's mobile device or desktop. Having a manifest is required by Chrome to show the Add to Home Screen prompt.

Windows 8 and 10​

Add a tile icon for Windows.
Add a Browser Configuration file which is used to define pinned site customizations.

Mac OS X El Capitan Safari​

Added mask icon for Safari pinned tabs on Mac OS X.

Classic, desktop browsers​

Add favicon.ico for classic browsers.
