Prestashop by far , much more community support
I use Prestashop for long time ago, Magento was a much more expensive solution with less supporting community. It seems that Prestashop is leaving some functionalities that were included in the software itself forcing to buy addons to make more money. We'll see what happens with version 1.8 and the evolution of plattforms as Woocommerce.
Prestashop is better for me
Prestashop is more stable. It works great
PrestaShop is better when it comes to the developing cost comparing to Magento.
And the learning curve also easier than Magento.
Meanwhile Magento is much more advanced and complex than PrestaShop.

I feel prestashop is the easiest to use due to its easy learning curve, however the plugin manager on it is biased to expensive plugins and tends to not show me the plugins i seek without assessing the main site. It can be quite frustrating when it wont allow you to install the plugin you truly want with ease.
