I found the same but you might want to try the following as it fixed mine:
Uninstall it
Clear the cache
Upload it as a zip file to the temp folder
Extract the zip file and when the pop up appears type in quix (as per below)

Then install it via 'Install from folder" and add "/quix "after temp = /public_html/tmp/quix
