«Redirection manager» is an easy and complete solution for managing 301 / 302 redirects and 404 errors resulting from years of experience in SEO and e-commerce.
Built for differents SEO needs (migrating to prestashop, frequently products or categories deletion, URLs pattern modification or 404 issues), the «redirections manager module» provides provides some powerfull features :
Manually create redirect
Just indicate the URL you want to redirect and the destination one. Click then on the save button : the new redirect works !
The two URLs can be relative or absolute.
Redirects can be 301 or 302 redirects, activated or deactivated. Others options are available and that you’ll discover !
Mass creation of redirects
The import tool allows to import redirects from CSV files, that will be especially usefull for migration to prestashop cases.
CSV files can be easily created with spreadsheet programs like excel.
The module is flexible with fields included in the file to import. You will have to use one column for URLs to redirect and one other for destination URLs and :
- Columns can be in any order in the file
- You can leave or not the name of your columns in the file
- Imports (and redirects they contain) can be easily deleted if needed (in test cases for example).

The module provides a solution for problems related to any page deletion in PrestaShop (404 errors, «link juice» loose) by the automatic adding of redirect on product, category, CMS, manufacturer and supplier deletion. Redirects point to (by default but every redirect can be modified):
- The default category associated to the deleted product if this category is enable
- The parent category of the deleted category if this category is enable
- The parent CMS category of the deleted CMS page
- The home page for deleted manufacturers and suppliers
