By Default, there aren't many options for shipping methods in PrestaShop and Restrict Shipping Methods module is developed by taking this aspect into consideration.Any online business offers multiple shipping methods to their customers for example air, by mail, priority etc. Restrict Shipping Methods has multiple rules that admin can use to allow or restrict specific shipping methods. Admin can restrict shipping methods that are not efficient or necessary for that particular product. Some time one shipping method is more efficient for a specific type of product or category while others for other types of products. You can allow particular shipping methods for your B2B business by using Group Access options.
There is also an option to create rules based on total cart value or total cart weight. You can also create a rule that will restrict shipping methods when a discount voucher is used by the customer.
