V1.7 Sharing not only modules/addons

Hi!

I'm wondering if we could use this magnificent forum to share knowldege not only modules. What I'm planning to implement is a kind of traffic light to show customers the availability of a product:

- Green means immediate shipment since the product is on stock
- Orange means available to order but not in stock
- Red means not available

In Prestashop 1.6 it worked fine, in prestashop 1.7 it is not implemented. Does anybody has some code in order to implement this in a shop. It would be more than welcome.
