Shopify Scams to much to keep using it

With the fact they lock down the checkout, its absurd to keep using shopify your literally leaving money on the table on each sale. They change absurd about for the most basic features in the checkout not worth it at all IMHO. Does anyone think otherwise ?:

I mean it's not the cheapest route but it is highly trusted, safe and not having to worry about the updates for the backend does save a lot of time and stress!
