Thanks for the feedback. I've finally decided to try out for myself and, luckily enough, everything works fine for me on PS 8.1.6 (granted that I don't really have many additional modules installed apart from the theme I'm using)

Let us know if you find out which of the modules is causing the trouble. From my past experiences, I know the free Google Analytics module was causing some issues.
