I did the update to 4.3.9, but it gave an error in the filter (does not load as images and does not show a bottom of the site)
My PS is 1.7.6.3

I make test for clean install, not like update.
First clean cache manualy, delete class-index.php of cache dir (dev and prod).
Better change theme to default, delete 4.3.8, install full 4.3.9 and config.

Theme license.php moded working for work version 4.3.9.

Ok, after noticed that anyone replies to my question ill explain you guys where you have to put the file.
As first install the theme.
Second thing connect to your ftp server
Go in modules/stthemeeditor/classes of your public_html folder
put the new themelicense.php @freiserk, enjoy!
