Translating with XLF files? How? module ?

Hello,


I thought I understood that you had to translate the .XLF files and then overwrite them in FTP in the theme/translation/en-FR/ folder...


Then I thought I had to update the pack in the backoffice.


But nothing is taken into account? (I emptied the cache etc...)


What is the method to translate the .XLF files directly? without having to do field after field via the backoffice?

This is the way to go with that, since you cleared the cache maybe the proper translation files are located in root/app/Resources/translations
