i've worked happily with the module in Prestashop 1.6. I hope it will be as easy to deal with in 1.7.

I think if you set-up your server right (vps) and remove most of the prestashop bloat ( by uninstalling modules you don't use, for example),this module won't be that heavy and won't increase the loading time that much..
