VueScan Pro is a program for working with scanners. It can work with internal color depth, supports automatic and manual adjustment of most parameters and batch scanning. More than 1850 scanner models are compatible with a certain margin in the direction of slide scanners: Nikon, Minolta, Polaroid, Microtek, Epson. Image defects due to infrared scanning and multi-pass scanning can be automatically eliminated by averaging the result to suppress intrinsic "noise" from the scanner.
Filters are provided for grain suppression, unsharp masking, and original ghost removal. There are tools for manual adjustment of dynamic range and gradation characteristics (independently for R, G, B channels).

VueScan is especially useful when working with transparent originals (negatives, slides), because the program contains information on the color characteristics of more than 150 types of film. The program provides a direct selection of a mask from a list of common films, as well as the ability to manually adjust the color components of the mask layer. Custom settings can be saved in a special file, which allows you to create individual profiles for each type of job.
