If you have less than 5000 products you can use WooCommerce
Bro. Not agree with you. WooCommerce are not alternative. The best alternative is Magento. OpenCart close to Presta. Woocommerce very very bad alternative. Woo it is shop plugin but not e-commerce platform!
i am not agree with you. i have used Presta, Magento, OpenCart and WooCommerce.
The slowest one is Magento, next WooCommerce
Presta and Opencart almost same.
but WooCommerce is not just a plugin. It has tons of addon and theme options. You can create more more complicated ecommerce websites than Opencart and Prestashop.
if you use, frontend caching plugin, all pages will be served in the lightning speed. but backend is slow relatively because of PHP + Mysql.
You thinking as designer "Beautiful site - good site".
"tons of addon" - not perfected code. WordPress very good and perfect code designed platform. But plugins not same as WP!
I manage many shops. I manage advertising of these sites. I have small business and own shops. I'm PHP developer. I was started from Joomla. And for now I had research all platforms.
Prestashop best. I able to build site from install to start Google Shopping Advertising with one day!
On Woocommerce I have to installing tons plugins two days.
But these toons plugins very very far from Prestashop from box.
